Statement from the Ministry of Developing Relations with the Kingdom of Morocco

The Ministry wishes to draw the attention of Moroccan pensioners in receipt of Gibraltar Old Age Pension benefits to the attached information notice regarding changes to travel arrangements arising from the implementation of the EU–UK Treaty arrangements in respect ofGibraltar.

The notice has been prepared to provide practical guidance on the new travel requirements that may apply when visiting Gibraltar and to explain the alternative arrangements available for receiving pension payments directly in Morocco.

Pensioners are encouraged to read the notice carefully and, where appropriate, make the necessary arrangements well in advance of any intended travel.

The Ministry remains committed to ensuring that all pensioners continue to receive their

entitlements in a secure, efficient and convenient manner. Those requiring further assistance are invited to contact the Department of Social Security using the details contained in the attached notice.

تود الوزارة لفت انتباه المتقاعدين المغاربة الذين يتلقون معاشات الشيخوخة من حكومة جبل طارق إلى إشعار المعلومات المرفق بشأن التغييرات في ترتيبات السفر الناتجة عن تنفيذ ترتيبات معاهدة الاتحاد الأوروبي–المملكة المتحدة فيما يتعلق بجبل طارق. وقد تم إعداد هذا الإشعار لتقديم إرشادات عملية حول متطلبات السفر الجديدة التي قد تنطبق عند زيارة جبل طارق، ولشرح الترتيبات البديلة المتاحة لتلقي مدفوعات المعاشات التقاعدية مباشرة في المغرب.

يُشجَّع المتقاعدون على قراءة الإشعار بعناية، وعند الاقتضاء، اتخاذ الترتيبات اللازمة قبل وقت كافٍ من أي سفر مُخطط له.
