The Gibraltar’s Citizens’ Advice Bureau, under Manager Pili Rodriguez has not only received recognition from the CAB-UK at their annual General meeting, but also worthy praise from the Chief Executive in the UK, David Harker.

Last month Gibraltar’s Bureau was represented at the annual Conference in York by Rodriguez and Advisor Joanna McGrail.

Now the local Bureau has been invited to form part of the International Forum in Brussels, Citizens’ Advice International is a non-governmental international body representing interests of free advice-giving organisations around the world. It was set this year with the mission to promote worldwide the gratuitous, impartial and confidential advice and information to the public about their rights.

In recognition of its standing the Gibraltar Bureau has been requested by the Head Office in the UK to assist Cyprus in initiating their own Bureau. Contact between the two cities was established during a meeting held in London.
