During October the manager of Gibraltar’s Citizens Advice Bureau, Pili Rodriguez, attended the Annual General Meeting and Conference of Britain’s confederation of Citizens Advice Bureaux. The event, held at the University of York, was opened by the Princess Royal, Princess Anne, who is patron of the CAB.

The local Citizens Advice Bureau has had many visitors since opening earlier on this year, with both local residents and visitors going to the office in Governor’s Lane to find out their rights and responsibilities. Pili’s visit to the York conference and AGM gave her the opportunity to establish links and contacts with her colleagues in the UK, as well as to ensure that the local CAB conforms to UK standards for information and advice.
