The number of enquiries made to the bureau has increased again. Particularly striking is the number of employment issues with more and more employees needing to know their rights. Some of these enquiries involve redundancies, company mergers and other business changes inevitable in a dynamic economy.
Telephone and e-mail enquiries still continue to rise. Our website has had over 95,000 page views.
An innovation this year in respect of Equal Opportunities is the introduction in our website of our aims, principles and contact details in different languages. Clients need to log into our website click the flag of their respective country and the translation in their language will follow.
This service aims to help migrant workers in Gibraltar and any other overseas client wanting to contact the bureau.
